Davie, FL (April 24, 2021) – Before 1 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, April 23, a car accident with injuries occurred on a major roadway in Davie.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of University Drive around the area of I-595. Several vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.
