Fort Lauderdale, FL (April 17, 2021) – Around 5:25 p.m. on the evening of Friday, April 16, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Fort Lauderdale.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Broward Boulevard and West 14th Avenue. Two vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. This caused extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
