Fort Lauderdale, FL (May 15, 2021) – At 2:16 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, May 15, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Fort Lauderdale.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Broward Boulevard. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of the collision. Their conditions are not yet known.
Three right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
