Homestead, FL (September 8, 2021) – Around 5 a.m. on Tuesday morning, September 7, a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident occurred in Homestead.
According to Miami-Dade Police, the accident happened on Southwest 152nd Avenue around the area of Harding Lane. A 52-year-old woman was walking in the area when she was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle that was also traveling through the area. The vehicle immediately fled the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. The female pedestrian was traumatically injured in the accident. She was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was blocked in the area until police were able to clear the scene.
