Lauderhill, FL (July 9, 2021) – At 12:31 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 9, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Lauderhill.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Oakland Park Boulevard and 55th Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles had to be towed from the intersection.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in two left lanes for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
