Miami, FL (January 31, 2022) – One person was killed in a fatal crash that took place at an intersection in North Miami on Monday morning, January 31.
North Miami Police confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of Northwest 119th Street and Seventh Avenue. A Dodge was traveling north in the area, a Range Rover was headed west, and an Infiniti was waiting to make a left turn. This is when the vehicles collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders in Miami were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the Dodge, identified only as a man in his 20s, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. The driver of the Range Rover was the only other person injured, who was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
Several witnesses around the local 7-Eleven said that they heard the crash and saw debris scattered all over the road in the area. Seventh Avenue was closed down in both directions at the intersection for some time following the accident.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
