Pembroke Pines, FL (December 5, 2021) – Around 7 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, December 4, a fatal accident occurred in Pembroke Pines.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Sheridan Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Two people were seriously injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. One person, who has not yet been identified was pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was blocked in multiple northbound lanes for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
