Sunrise, FL (August 13, 2021) – At 10 a.m. on the morning of Friday, August 13, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Sunrise.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Oakland Park Boulevard and Northwest 60th Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other at the intersection. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
