Tamarac, FL (April 18, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on Sunday morning, April 18, a car crash occurred on a highway in Tamarac.
According to Broward County officials, the accident took place on the Sawgrass Expressway in the northbound lanes, near the area of Oakland Park Boulevard. Two or more vehicles collided with each other, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
