Coconut Creek, FL (July 2, 2021) – Around 3:21 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 2, a car accident with injuries occurred in Coconut Creek.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Hillsboro Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were present at the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not known at this time.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
