Davie, FL (July 3, 2021) – At 8:50 a.m. on the morning of Friday, July 2, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Davie.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of University Drive around the area of I-595. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays for some time.
