Coconut Creek, FL (March 1, 2021) – Around 6:44 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, February 28, a fatal accident occurred at a Coconut Creek intersection.
According to Coconut Creek Police, the collision happened at the intersection of Sample Road and Northwest 42nd Avenue. Two vehicles, identified as an SUV and a passenger vehicle, collided in the area. The damaged SUV was sitting in the street and the passenger vehicle overturned.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One person was killed and seven others were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Their identifies are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, Sample Road was blocked in the area for several hours.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
