Davie, FL (June 8, 2021) – At 4:37 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, June 8, a car crash occurred on a highway in Davie that led to injuries.
According to Broward County officials, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-595 around the area of Flamingo Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were rushed to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Three right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
