Hillsboro Beach, FL (June 7, 2021) – At 9:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, June 5, a serious bicycle accident occurred in Hillsboro Beach.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at 900 Hillsboro Mile. A 2018 Honda CR-V was traveling in the area when it collided with multiple bicyclists who were riding in the area. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help. Three men were taken to the hospital as a result of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known. It is believed that all of their injuries were severe in nature.
A portion of the roadway was blocked for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
