Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 13, 2021) – At 3:43 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 13, a car accident with injuries occurred in Fort Lauderdale.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and West Andrews Avenue. Two or more vehicles allegedly collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged due to the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
