Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 12, 2021) – At 4:13 p.m. on Monday afternoon, July 12, a car accident with injuries occurred in Fort Lauderdale.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Broward Boulevard and Kentucky Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly collided with each other. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time until police were able to clear the scene.
