Fort Lauderdale, FL – Car Accident at Sunrise Blvd & NW 15th Ave

Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 28, 2021) – At 5:47 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, July 28, a car accident with injuries occurred in Fort Lauderdale.

 

According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Northwest 15th Avenue. Two or more vehicles were driving in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.

 

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

 

Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.

 

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
