Fort Lauderdale, FL (June 30, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 30, a car accident occurred on a highway in Fort Lauderdale.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Davie Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Three left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time until police cleared the scene.
