Fort Lauderdale, FL (March 9, 2021) – Around 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning, March 9, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Fort Lauderdale.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of US-1 around the area of Northeast 26th Street. It is believed that multiple vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
All lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time.
