Fort Lauderdale, FL – Mother and Children Injured in Car Crash on NW 19th St

Fort Lauderdale, FL (October 8, 2021) – At 8 p.m. on the night of Thursday, October 7, a mother and her children were injured in a Fort Lauderdale car crash.

 

According to Fort Lauderdale Police, the accident happened at 1200 Northwest 19th Street. A woman identified as Fallone Pinphinat was driving her vehicle in the area when it was suddenly struck by an orange Dodge Charger from behind. Her vehicle was forcefully pushed into a truck that was in front of her. Her BMW was completely destroyed and had to be towed from the scene. Police confirmed that the Charger did not stay at the scene.

 

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. Pinphinat and her three children were all seriously injured and rushed to the hospital. They are expected to be okay.

 

Police have not yet said if they identified the driver of the Charger at this time. The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time.

 

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
