Fort Lauderdale, FL (June 26, 2021) – At 5:36 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, June 26, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Fort Lauderdale.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of I-595. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
