Hollywood, FL (June 27, 2021) – At 11:18 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, June 27, a car accident took place on a highway in Hollywood.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Stirling Road. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
