Fort Lauderdale, FL (August 24, 2021) – At 1:39 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 24, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Fort Lauderdale.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Northwest 7th Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the left lane for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
