Fort Lauderdale, FL (June 17, 2021) – At 7:51 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, June 17, a car accident with injuries occurred in Fort Lauderdale.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of Broward Boulevard at the intersection of US-1. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with each other.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, all lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time.
