Broward Co, FL (June 18, 2021) – At 5:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, June 17, a car accident took place on a highway in Broward County, leaving at least one victim injured.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 around the area of Hallandale Beach Boulevard. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those requiring treatment, and it appears that they hospitalized at least one person as a result of their injuries. The current conditions of the victims are unknown, however.
All lanes of traffic on the highway were blocked in the area for a period of time while police cleared the scene and conducted the on-scene portion of their investigation.
