Hialeah, FL – Man Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on I-75

Hialeah, FL (September 6, 2021) – Around 5:30 a.m. on the morning of Monday, September 6, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Hialeah.

According to Florida Highway Patrol officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75. A pedestrian was walking in the area when two vehicles suddenly struck him around the area of the 138th Street ramp. The drivers of the vehicles remained at the scene so that the drivers could cooperate with the police.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The victim, who has since been identified only as an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the drivers who remained at the scene told police that he was unable to see anything on the highway until it was too late. He saw in the mirror that he struck somebody and immediately pulled over.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes for some time as police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time.
