Hollywood, FL (June 15, 2021) – At 5:21 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, June 15, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Hollywood.
According to Broward County authorities, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of exit 19, Pembroke Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are still not known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Four right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
