Truck Accidents in Florida

Statistics provided by the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles in 2017 showed that approximately 32,000 accidents involved large trucks on Florida roads. Out of these accidents, approximately 1,053 people sustained serious injuries. Because of the large size of trucks, they are capable of causing extensive harm in the event of an accident. The injuries that stem from these accidents tend to be catastrophic in nature. Truck drivers spend a long period of time on our roads, which means that they are more likely than other drivers to drive distracted or under the influence. On top of this, drivers sometimes fall asleep at the wheel due to a lack of sleep on the job. If you have been hurt in a truck-related collision, you should have the skilled help of an attorney on your side.

Being hurt in a truck accident can have a huge and lasting impact on every aspect of your life. Because of this, you should be prepared to speak with a Jupiter truck accident lawyer about your claim. These claims are much more complex than your common car accident claim. This is because truck drivers are expected to abide by certain rules of the road. On top of this, many parties could be at fault for a truck accident. These include the following parties:

  • Truck drivers
  • Trucking companies
  • Manufacturers
  • Cargo loaders

If you have been hurt in a truck accident and wonder where you can turn, you should be prepared to speak with a skilled Jupiter personal injury attorney about your claim.
