Lauderhill, FL (October 15, 2021) – Around 3 a.m. on Friday morning, October 15, a woman was killed in a fatal house fire in Lauderhill.
According to officials, the fire broke out in a townhouse at 2211 Northwest 55th Terrace. Fire crews received 911 calls and found that there were heavy smoke and flames pouring out of a house. Crews also found that there was a possible victim inside the home. They found their way inside the house and found a woman, bringing her to safety.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The female victim was seriously injured and CPR was administered. She was transported to Broward Health Medical Center and tragically pronounced dead while there. The victim’s dog also died at the scene.
The area was blocked for an extended period of time.
