N Miami Beach, FL – Fatal Pedestrian Accident Involving Train Near NE 163rd St

North Miami Beach, FL (December 7, 2021) – Around 8:30 am. on Tuesday morning, December 7, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred near an intersection in North Miami Beach.

 

According to officials, the accident happened on the railroad tracks near the area of the intersection of Northeast 163rd Street and Biscayne Boulevard. An unidentified pedestrian was walking in the area when they started to cross the railroad tracks. They were suddenly struck by a train that was traveling in the area.

 

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian was traumatically injured in the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The area was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
