Hollywood, FL (December 8, 2021) – Before 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning, December 8, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Hollywood.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of US-441 around the area of Sheridan Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time.
