Oakland Park, FL (October 20, 2021) – At 2:50 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 20, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Oakland Park.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Oakland Park Boulevard and Northwest 21st Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
