Hollywood, FL (October 19, 2021) – At 4:21 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 19, a car crash with injuries occurred in Hollywood.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of US-1 and South Young Circle. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The vehicles involved were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured in the collision. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the left lane of traffic was blocked for some time.
