Oakland Park, FL – Concepcion Siverts Killed in Pedestrian Crash on E Commercial Blvd

Oakland Park, FL (July 20, 2021) – At 1:42 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 19, a woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash in Oakland Park.

 

According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at 1300 East Commercial Boulevard. A woman, later identified as Concepcion Siverts, was walking near the westbound lanes when she was struck by a passenger vehicle. The vehicle immediately fled the scene of the crash.

 

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries.

 

Police have not yet released a description of the vehicle involved in the crash. The roadway was blocked while they worked to clear the scene.

 

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
