Plantation, FL (June 23, 2021) – On Wednesday morning, June 23, a mechanic was injured in a car crash at an intersection in Plantation.
According to Plantation officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Cleary Boulevard and Central Park Drive. At the time, a mechanic was driving a police cruiser when he was suddenly involved in a collision at the intersection involving another vehicle. The police cruiser sustained severe front-end damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash. A total of three people, who have not yet been officially identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the intersection was blocked in several lanes for a period of time.
