Car Accidents in Florida

Florida sees more car accidents than many other states in the entirety of the U.S. each year. In just one recent year’s time, in fact, it is estimated that approximately 400,000 car accidents occurred within the state. Out of these accidents, over 250,000 led to serious injuries and hospitalizations. Many people who have been hurt in a car accident wonder, ‘Where will I turn?’ following one of these life-altering collisions. Knowing your rights and being your own advocate is imperative if you wish to move forward with a claim. You will have to show that another party is at fault for your accident if you wish to move forward with a successful claim against another party. However, since this is not always an easy task, it is crucial that you speak with an attorney that you can trust after an accident.

Annual research is conducted every year in the state and throughout the country to determine what causes the most car accidents on our roads. Some of the most common reasons for these collisions include the following:

  • Driving under the influence
  • Distracted driving
  • Aggressive driving
  • Speeding
  • Falling asleep at the wheel

Serious injuries result from many of these accidents, which can land a victim in a difficult position that they are not prepared for. If you have been hurt in a car accident, you should speak with a Pompano Beach car accident attorney that you can trust.
