Ft Lauderdale, FL – Three Injured in Fiery Car Crash at NW 4th Ave & 9th St

Fort Lauderdale, FL (January 17, 2022) – Three people were injured in a fiery car crash that took place at an intersection in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, January 14. 

 

According to Fort Lauderdale Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Northeast Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street. A Cadillac was traveling in the area when it collided with a concrete barrier in the area after the driver lost control due to unknown reasons. The car immediately burst into flames and sustained severe damages. 

 

Fire crews put out the fire as quickly as possible. Paramedics found that three people sustained injuries in the accident. They were identified as a child and two adults. The parties were rushed to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. 

 

Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time. 

 

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
