Pompano Beach, FL (October 3, 2021) – At 4:16 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, October 2, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in Pompano Beach.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of exit 36, Atlantic Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The damaged vehicles had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, all lanes of traffic were blocked for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
