Pompano Beach, FL (August 1, 2021) – At 1:41 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, August 1, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Pompano Beach.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Atlantic Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Three right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
