Sunrise, FL (April 22, 2021) – At 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 22, a serious multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Sunrise.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of West Oakland Park Boulevard and Northwest 60th Avenue. Two or more vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The right lane of traffic was blocked at the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
