Fort Lauderdale, FL – Car Accident at Sunrise Blvd & 15th Ave Intersection

Fort Lauderdale, FL (August 19, 2021) – At 3:24 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, August 19, a car accident happened in Fort Lauderdale.

 

According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and 15th Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

 

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.

 

The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
