Fort Lauderdale, FL (August 18, 2021) – At 5:36 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, August 17, a car crash with injuries occurred in Fort Lauderdale.
According to Broward County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Commercial Boulevard and 21st Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays.
