Lake Worth, FL – Sarah Mckee Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Weymouth St

Lake Worth, FL (August 16, 2021) – On Monday morning, August 16, a woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash in Lake Worth.

 

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Weymouth Street around the area of South Military Trail. A female pedestrian was quickly crossing the street in the area when she was struck by a passenger vehicle traveling in the area. The pedestrian was dragged for a distance before the vehicle stopped.

 

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The pedestrian, identified as 31-year-old Sarah Mckee, was taken to the hospital with severe injuries. She was tragically pronounced dead while there.

 

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
