Miami Beach, FL – Officer Struck in Pedestrian Crash Involving Officer on 22nd St

Miami Beach, FL (January 28, 2022) – On Thursday evening, January 27, a pedestrian crash took place at an intersection in Miami Beach involving two officers. 

 

According to Miami Beach officials, the accident happened at the intersection of 22nd Street and Collins Avenue. An officer was attempting to arrest a robbery suspect who was fleeing on foot in the area. While running after him, he was unintentionally struck by another officer who was driving in the area.
